That's Hot.
So I met up with my like most favourite dance babes Ling, Marie and Fen, and it was like, so fun! We first went to Funan and Marie had her lunch after trying to look for a Mini SD card for her brother. But it was like too expensive so we headed to Marina Square where we walked around for a bit and talked like non-stop because we were updating each other on like our life and stuff. That continued when we went over to Suntec. But because we were like so tired after that and we needed a drink, we sat down at Coffee Bean to like chill, gossip and take some photos. We also exchanged gifts that we like bought for each other. That was hot.

After that we headed to Sim Lim Square so Marie could get the Mini SD card. And man, it was like so much cheaper than Funan. And we went to the Food Court at the basement to have our dinner because we were all like too hungry and I finally had my Small Dragon Buns. It was like oh so yummy!

We walked back to Bugis because we wanted to like take those photo sticker thingys, but the counter for us to change money was like, closed. That was so lame because why wouldn't they want to earn like more money by having the counter open right? But that's alright, because I had my trusty camera. So we decided to go to the bridge where we like took photos the last year too and started snapping away. It was like so hard to get a good shot with all 4 of us in but we managed to do it.

And because we still were like not happy about not being able to take those photo sticker thingys, we decided to like take more pictures of our pretty selves with my camera. We went to the lift area at The Edge and like started snapping away. But after one of the poses we had a quarrel about who was like prettier so we ended up in a catfight which was caught on the cam. That was like sooooo embarassing because people were like staring at us, although I don't really understand why. But in the end we like kissed and made up because we are like best friends, so how could we like stay angry at each other for like that long? So all was like peaceful in the end.

THE END!

*Disclaimer: No one was injured physically in this photo-taking frenzy. However, the writer's brain was a little damaged in the process resulting in the way she wrote this entry.

He Is The Reason
Busy busy week and I finally can take a breather.. Have to write more X'mas cards later though.

Camp was good. Was awesome in fact. Glad I went despite the "I don't feel like going" phase which happens before every camp.. haha. As for Christmas, well it was a rather quiet affair.

Anyhoos, here's wishing everybody a

BLESSED CHRISTMAS!

Sorry if I didn't write a card for you this year, I ran out of cards, plus everything was pretty rushed. But you know I still love you guys :)

Yesteryears
Remember in Secondary School how you would sit on the floors at MRT stations talking rubbish with friends while waiting for something or someone? Well.. that was wat happened today except that we weren't waiting for people.. we just wanted to sit somewhere and talk (and slp :p) wahaha.. so us 3 mad women did that. After a very very filling lunch and a trip to the threading pro (evident in the pictures), we plonked our lazy butts on the ground of Little India MRT and photowhored and talked.

Went with the parents and brothers on a day trip to JB to eat some good food and do some shopping. The company was SUPERB! Of course. It's been a LOOOOOONNNNGGGGG while since the whole family actually went out like this. Lunch and dinner was AWESOME too! Super duper good food but I'm so damn full even till now.. I don't think all my dinner's digested yet.. And I think I'm fatter.. Just look at the pic below!! Jialat.. 2ml still got makan with Hana and Mich and dinner with Amy.. I'm so growing fatter man.. haha

Ok.. I digressed.. back to the JB trip.. Well I was hoping to get me some new shoes.. but no.. no luck.. in fact shopping was pretty bad.. Didn't get ANYTHING. Okay I did get some cheap stuff that no one will ever see but me.. haha but other than that.. it was a disappointment.. Looks like I'll just get the shoes I wanna get here. I need to get it before Christmas!! Which means this week must buy 'cos I'm gona be busy from Friday onwards.

Anyhoos, here's some pics from lunch today at this restaurant called TGI Fridays.

More than a Conqueror - Tommy Tenney
The size of your enemy is a measure of the size of God's confidence in your ability to overcome.

Scripture Reading
1 Samuel 17:1-51, tells how David, armed with a sling, five stones and the anointing of God, defeated and killed Goliath, a giant Philistine warrior.
God sees potential everybody else misses.

Take David for example. Who would have thought that a shepherd boy from Bethlehem could bring down a professional soldier nearly twice his height? Or, for that matter, could become a king who would lead his nation to greatness? God did . When God looked at David He looked beyond the shepherd and saw the heart of a warrior and a king. God knew the potential for greatness that was in David. After all, He had put it there.

Not even Jesse, David's father, recognized the potential in his youngest son. When Samuel arrived to anoint one of Jesse's sons as king of Israel , Jesse did not even call David in from the fields to be in the lineup. One by one the Lord rejected David's older brothers, saying, “For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” Finally, David was called before Samuel. “And the Lord said, ‘Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!'”

Not long after this God began to elevate David toward his destiny. He brought David face-to-face with a formidable enemy. With the soldiers of two opposing armies as witnesses, David brought down Goliath with a single stone from his sling. David succeeded because he knew where his power came from. Just before this battle he told King Saul, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” God was confident of David's ability to overcome because He knew that David would not trust in his own strength.

God sees great potential in you too. God knows what you can handle because He knows what He has placed inside you. The more you align your life to God's purpose the more He will begin moving you toward your destiny.

Remember that new levels bring new devils. Don't fear the obstacles and challenges that lie before you. Don't fret over the apparent size and strength of your enemies. They merely reflect God's confidence in your ability to overcome— in His power . Trust the Lord. He will match your character and strength to the challenges you face. He will make you more than a conqueror!

Good News Is ALWAYS Good
Got back my results already and I must say that I am very happy with them. Maybe I expected to get a better grade for my MPP.. but well I'm just shocked I did well for my Services Marketing. Wahaha. And for that, I really must thank God! Because it would definitely have been impossible for me to get that grade if not for Him!

I started dance last week.. and boy was it a good workout. My whole body is aching like mad but you know what, it's shiok. Although I wouldn't mind a massage now.. Haha I haven't felt like this for ages and well, I'm just happy I'm doing it. I mean it's dance man!! Woohoo!! :D After the Christmas performance I shall start on my exercise I said I was gonna do when I get back.. heh.

So I've been pretty busy, especially with dance practices 3 times a week, means lesser time to meet up with people but well thank God I'm back for a longer time, till mid Feb to be exact, so hopefully I manage to catch up with everyone I wanna catch up with. This month might be a bit tough to meet up with people but I'll try my best! So if you wanna meet just drop me an SMS or smth yah? I'm sorry if I you've dated me and I didn't manage to slot you in. Bare with me for a while, at least this month :)

Ok besides all these, anybody got any lobang for jobs? Like Disa.. I NEED A JOB!! Haha yes.. I know this is gona be taking up most of my time but no money.. I can't do anything man! I don't really wanna ask my parents for money so if you know of any openings let me know aight? But why do I have a feeling I'm gona end up not working.. wahaha. Bad bad bad..

Oh yes.. my dear Ameliaoooo are we having our girls night at your place this week?? Even if we don't, I wanna seeeee yoouuuuu!!!!!

New One On Repeat
Chocolate - Snow Patrol

This could be the very minute
I'm aware I'm alive
All these places feel like home

With a name I'd never chosen
I can make my first steps
As a child of 25

This is the straw, final straw in the
Roof of my mouth as I lie to you
Just because I'm sorry doesn't mean
I didn't enjoy it at the time

You're the only thing that I love
It scares me more every day
On my knees I think clearer

Goodness I saw it coming
Or at least I'll claim I did
But in truth I'm lost for words

What have I done it's too late for that
What have become truth is nothing yet
A simple mistake starts the hardest time
I promise I'll do anything you ask...this time

Chillin' In
So today's a Thursday. Was supposed to be going to JB for some Italian food and retail therapy.. But alas, it was not to be. My Bablee fell sick last night. So here I am stoning in front of my mum's laptop and updating this blog of mine for the sake of my faithful readers. Haha.

Anyhoos, yes so on Tues I met Eka before he flew back to Thailand yesterday. And we ate and talked for a whole 4 hours. Wahaha another talk cock buddy. You know I've never really talked so long with him all the years I knew him until then. And I think if I didn't bump into him at Bugis last week I wouldn't have planned to meet up with him at all. But t'was good.

Wednesday was Mr Teo day and we caught The Last Kiss. I think some people might have found it boring 'cos it's smth like Closer and there's quite a bit of talking. But I loved it. Another thinking movie.

"What you feel only matters to you. It's what you do to the people you love. That's what matters. That's the only thing that counts."

On another note, anybody/bodies willing to buy me Snow Patrol's albumS for Christmas? haha :p

Big Mud Puddles and Sunny Yellow Dandelions
Got this in the mail from my aunt and I think it is beautiful. Today is going to be a beautiful day! :)

When I look at a patch of dandelions, I see a bunch of weeds that are going to take over my yard.
My kids see flowers for Mom and blowing white fluff you can wish on.

When I look at an old drunk and he smiles at me, I see a smelly, dirty person who probably wants money and I look away.
My kids see someone smiling at them and they smile back.

When I hear music I love, I know I can't carry a tune and don't have much rhythm so I sit self-consciously and listen.
My kids feel the beat and move to it. They sing out the words. If they don't know them, they make up their own.

When I feel wind on my face, I brace myself against it. I feel it messing up my hair and pulling me back when I walk.
My kids close their eyes, spread their arms and fly with it, until they fall to the ground laughing.

When I pray, I say thee and thou and grant me this, give me that.
My kids say, "Hi God! Thanks for my toys and my friends. Please keep the bad dreams away tonight. Sorry, I don't want to go to Heaven yet. I would miss my Mommy and Daddy."

When I see a mud puddle I step around it. I see muddy shoes and dirty carpets.
My kids sit in it. They see dams to build, rivers to cross, and worms to play with.

I wonder if we are given kids to teach or to learn from? No wonder God loves the little children! Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and
realize they were the big things.

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away."
