Inspired by my dearest Marie's blog post on Friendster. I have decided to write bout it too.

Just yesterday I received a(nother) friend request by this (desperate) guy. As much as I like to find my friends on Friendster after losing contact with them for ages. I don't really fancy the idea of having people I don't know msging me and adding me.

I just don't understand why some guys are so desperate to meet girls. Espeically those boys who have just gone through puberty and are on the hunt for girls on the streets. The classic example being them asking "Xiao jie, ke yi gen ni zuo peng you ma?" As also illustrated on Marie's blog when Fen got picked up. Sheesh are their skins really that thick to feel no shame at all? As if they just want to be friends with you. I'm sure they have enough friends, obviously they're hoping for smth more to happen.

I'm not saying ALL guys (whether Singaporean or not) are like tat. Hey, my boi and practically all the guys I noe are definitely not like tat. So there. :)

Ok I digressed.. back to Friendster. These guys try to pick u up and they haven't even met you in person for gdness sake. They see your pictures and think you seem friendly and fun. Sorry mister, think again. Not ALL of us girls are THAT friendly and fun. I don't know exactly what their definition of fun is, what your definition of their fun is. But yo me, it's pretty straightforward. Who in the world would describe someone as being fun when you just see pictures of tat person. Sheesh.

I must admit that it is not entirely the fault of these guys who msg. Because there are those girls who would jump at the chance to meet new guys and are more than happy to receive such requests. They do give us a bad name, but hey that's the life they like, I can't do anyting. But all I can say is don't generalize thank you very much.

*Sigh* Friendster has now become another version of IRC for these guys who are out on the prowl.

Because of all these recent happenings there's a new addition to my profile:
I've met all the people I want to meet and if I do meet you in the future then good. But pls dun go adding me because I AM NOT INTERESTED in making friends through friendster. Thank you very much.

It's past midnite and I'm a girl who can't stop grinning :D

It's amazing that 6 months have passed just like that. Amazing how things have been despite the distance. Amazing how much I have placed us in God's hands. Amazing how we've come this far. It's not just 6 months. It has been more than that. When I first knew him in Sec 1. When we got into the same class. When we first got together. When we stopped talking after sec school for a while. When we saw each other again in poly. When we started talking again. When we started going out again. And when we got together again. It's been almost 8 yrs. And I can only look up and thank God for letting me know him.

Here's to us. :) 6 mths.. it's just an amount of time. What we have goes back way longer than that and what we have will continue to move. Blessed to have you by my side. I love you baby.

Today I would say is a fulfilling day.. :)

First I managed to do cut and paste quite a lot of stuff on my scrapbook. And den I managed to tok properly with my boi :D and just had a good conversation with Karthik. Really good to tok to u again after ages man.. haha :)

Toking to Karthik.. I tot back about how I was last time.. and how selfish I was.. but I'm glad that I learnt from it and I changed. To be honest I am quite disgusted at the way I handled things back when I was in Sec 3.. with Wenliang, with Ivan, with Junhao. But if it wasn't for that.. I wouldn't have learnt and be what I am today.

And I have to thank one person who really woke me up. Junie. :)

I think I never told you, but tat time, when I had problems with Wenliang. You wrote me a letter that really woke me up. And Jun, if it weren't for the harshness of tat letter, I don't tink I would have realised what an idiot I was. I dunno if you still remember tat letter though :p Babe, you really are one of the greatest girls I noe and I'm really thankful to have a friend like you! :) However life may be treating you now, know that there are ppl who still love you and you really deserve to be happy. We may not be tat close as we were last time, and I may noe know what you're going through rite now. But anytime you need to tok, I'll be here for you yah ;) I LOVE YOU!! heh

And did I ever tell you guys how wonderful my boi is?? He really is such a blessing to me and I really thank God that he is able to look past all that has happened and accept me for what I am today. I LOVE YOU DEAR!! :)

And yes besides tat.. I feel so loved today.. because I know how much ppl miss me.. Even wanting me to DHL myself back or pack myself in a suitcase and send myself back, with extra oxygen tanks in tow so I'll survive and reach SG back earlier. haha

I finally caught Sliding Doors after wanting to watch it for soooo long.. I noe I noe.. slow.. haha 7 yrs late in catching the show.. But better late den never! haha cos I LOVE THE SHOW!! :) I fyou haven't watched it.. catch it.. I tink there's smth bout movies that play around with time that makes me fall in love with it.

Funny how sometimes our decisions put us in different situations at different times but den no matter what you do it still comes full circle? And the things still happen just maybe in a different order now and at a later time.

I remember that I used to wonder bout how God plans our lives. What if we made a wrong decision and went a different path from the one that we were supposed to go? Does it mean that his whole plan for us changes? Or does he plan it just one step ahead of us each time? Den I remember ppl like Jonah.. going one big circle only to end up doing the thing he was supposed to do.

Our God is a smart one isn't He? ;) That's y He noes best and I can rest in knowing that not having to worry.


And well.. if you guys have been wondering what I've been doing.. I've been doing NOTHING! Big surprise ain't it? haha :p but nah.. I've decided to get working on my scrapbook again.. haven't touched it for ages.. time to start cutting and pasting and when I'm done I tink I'll sit down and design some dresses again. I LIKE! :) heh and then it's time for me to get started on some X'mas cards too.. Can't wait till I go back n write can I? I tink if I do tat I won't have to slp till X'mas.. haha

Clothes!!!! haha headed down to this huge Supre store at Osborne Park with Tiff and Lou today. And my gdness.. it was HUGE. haha we tried on soooooo many pretty clothes.. Didn't study much yesterday.. stopped after lunner.. y? Cos I wasn't feeling well and felt like puking.. which also means I'm screwed.. How in the world am I supposed to finish revising with just one day left.. bah..

I Lub Tanyaling (deep deep). Tanyaling is my confidante. Tanyaling thinks a lot about everything! When I think of shopping/SG/my problems/gossip, I think of Tanyaling. One down, one more to go! :) woohoo. I feel good after today's paper.. though I'm not very sure if my answers are 100% correct and if I presented the case correctly.. I know I already put down whatever I know and think is right down. So i'm feeling good! :D No feeling of.. "shucks.. sure got noting to write already" when I handed in my paper.

Thank you Lord for kping me calm during the paper and helping me to write out everything in my head w/o a prob! :)

Feeling strangely.. relaxed.. It's so weird. I wanted to go to school early to do some last min. piaing b4 my Law paper later at 2. But den I woke up.. read the rest of the notes that I haven read. And I dun feel like kan chiong bout this and that.. I guess cos it's open book.. I know everything is there.. the only thing I'm worried about is not being able to identify the issue properly, finding the correct case to apply and finding it fast enuff from my notes and putting my thoughts into words later. But I know that God will help me. I feel so super unprepared.. yet prepared you noe wat I mean?

But I know one thing for sure. God is the one kping me calm and collected and He will continue to help me later during the paper. :)

I'll update later on how it went.. in the meantime.. pray for me ppl!!! haha

Had Pot Bless (aka Pot Luck) juz now with my cell grp. I'm STILL stuffed even though I stopped eating at like 10pm.. madness.. haha I think I'm still a bit high from all the food and laughing after tat cos of a nonsensical impromptu skit thing we decided to do. Damn funny lah. At least I managed to exercise my facial muscles and stomach muscles a bit lah huh? haha

I juz read Ber's blog and the verse Exodus 3:14 came up.. and guess wat? I was juz doing my QT and the same verse came out.. talking bout basically the same stuff! Is that coincidence or wat? It isn't. God's reminding me and telling me He hasn't changed. He is. Yesterday, today, tomorrow, He's still be my Father, Friend, Comforter, Shelter, Provider and the list goes on and on..

Just because He doesn't seem to be there sometimes doesn't mean that He isn't. We shdn't be doubting. Instead we shd just look closer and we'll see that He's been right here with us, all along.

I think I need to ban myself from using the net.. I've been trying to do everything and anything to stop myself from coming online. I even tried studying.. yes STUDYING!! *gasp* but I still failed!!! haha ok juz being drama here.. bah..

As you can see and I tink u all noe.. I'm addicted to coming online and filling my blog with pointless stuff to while my time away.. and especially so when I'm stuck at home with nothing to do on my "to do" list except for studying.. HELP!!! Yesterday I made my way down to Harbour Town for some retail therapy and yes I bought a top and a pair of 3/4s :D Happiness!

But at the same time.. I fell in love with this top.. Sigh.. I'm gona save money n see if I can get it! Hopefully it's still there when I next make a trip down WITH money.. haha so.. I was obsessed.. I went to Just Jeans' website to see if they had the top and they do!! haha but den.. I tink I look better in it den the model wearing it.. Ok shameless I noe.. But I'm juz bored.. and I'm supposed to be studying.. so forgive me will ya? :p

Todae the topic for the day is LOVES of my life! :) I'm feeling all mushy, like porridge, today.. so bear with me.. if not.. dun read! :p

My first love of cos is my Father in Heaven, Creator, Comforter, Friend, Giver, Saviour... and the list goes on and on and on. But He's still the one and only!

Isn't it amazing that we don't have to do anything to be blessed. But instead we are blessed and so we do! :) Our Lord is amazing!

I've never felt this free in worshipping Him after soooo long. I tink I've really started to put down all the baggages and put all my trust in Him once again. I'm starting to feel Him again and hear Him. Now life is all good! I can't stop thanking him everyday for the way tings are now. He is the God of second chances :)

Sometimes we don't understand things are the way they are, and we seek for answers so hard only to come to a dead end time and time again. And den we start to question Him over and over again, and sometimes to the extent of getting fed up and we stop toking to Him like we did. At least tat was wat I did.

But the great thing about Him is.. He never gave up on me. He patiently waited for me to wake up and come back to Him as He slowly revealed tings to me bit by bit. Although I may not noe everything rite now.. but I noe.. in His time. He will only give me the best so why worry? :)

The second love I want to tok bout is my dear boi Ivan.. I know that I have never really spoken about him on my blog b4.. so today's a first :)

I must admit that us getting together wasn't exactly a super smooth one and there were a lot.. and I mean A LOT of problems and obstacles that we had to overcome because of our past, as well as ppl's views on us. And I had so many doubts and uncertainties bout us, tat was part of y I was questioning so much, as I mentioned above. But u noe wat? I'm glad I stuck thru this and I dun regret a single bit.

My baby's really been a blessing to me and if it wasn't for him, I seriously dunno how I would have managed these last few mths being here. He's been patient, understanding, sensitive and loving in all the rite amounts to know how to act and wat to say to make me feel better when I'm feeling under the weather. He's the one who's been encouraging and reminding me whether in words or actions, to do my QT, pray and continue to trust and believe in Him just when I needed tat extra push.

We may be miles away and sometimes we do feel the strain of being apart, but ultimately we know that God will guide us thru this. We noe the road ahead is not an easy one, but wat we have, we noe is smth worth going thru it all for.

And my third and final love I'm gona mention today is my dearest dearest babeh and lesbian partner of all time.. TANYALING!!! haha

What would I do without this wonderful girlfriend of mine whom I'm so thankful for. She's the one I can talk to, crap with, laugh with, cry with, go crazy with, nag at, and she still loves me for me. She's one of the few who bothers to ask how things are going with me, listen to me b****, and get angry at ppl for me haha

She understands me and almost always know how I'd react and wat I'd say in situations. She's one of the few ppl who has me caught in a spell where I can cry for her just because I noe she's upset. And I can safely say tat there's noting more we want den for each other to be happy :)

We've been thru so much shit (pardon me language) together but we're still going strong and loving each other even more.. (yes yes I told lesbian partner wat :p)

The 2 of us are so different yet so alike. The distance can't tear us apart babeh ;)

The last wk of school this wk for me. Juz left with the exams and I'm done.. Den I'll be back on 17 Dec to celebrate X'mas with you guys :) Like Johnny reminded me.. it's juz 6 more wks. Saying 6 wks sounds so much faster den 1 n half mths. haha

Almost a yr is gone and I must say this has been an eventful yrs.. and I belif that I have grown so much. Esp. this 2nd half of the yr. I look back and am amazed at what has happened and how the Lord has helped me thru. From me feeling helpless, resentful, sorry, to being more thankful, grateful, trustful and patient.

The Lord is good. REALLY GOOD :) And I am blessed by Him.

I'm looking forward to this X'mas.
I'm looking forward to being back.
I'm looking forward to having meaningful long toks with my girlfriendS.
I'm looking forward to more photowhoring sessions.

I was talking to Kangwe (I refuse to call him by his proper name.. haha) earlier and he asked me how I celebrated my 18th birthday.. And I realised.. the older I get.. the quieter my birthdays are. But that's all I want. Nothing beats just spending time chilling with my family and close friends, ppl who I love and love me. What's better den tat? :) Or maybe I'm juz getting older and more sentimental aye.. haha

Haha the DJ on radio juz said smth about more n more shorts and legs are being seen. Wat kind of comment is tat man? haha but it's true!!! I LOVE the weather now.. :) in fact I'm gona wear me denim skirt today! woohoo!! :p haha but bah.. one hour lesson today only.. law.. but well last lesson already!! yay!! den 2ml marketing tut and I'm done for this sem!!! how fast is tat man? :) after tat time to study n prepare for my exams.

Yesterday's paper was quite a disaster though.. but well *cross fingers* and pray. :D

Yesterday was a fun day though... went shopping in between lessons with Ger, Joel and Arthur cos Arthur was clocking up his 25hrs for driving. Den we went to Harbour Town.. yes AGAIN.. haha i bought another braided belt.. but this time in bronze the colour I've been looking for and it was ony $5 and the last piece!! fated. woohoo!! happy girl :)

Den Tiff also brought Chwee Kueh for me to eat.. yum yum. Thank you!!!! ah.. I'm craving for S'pore food again.. Dec 17 quick come den I can go back n have my prata... haha who wants to join me and Tanya Ling for supper if we can come out on 17th Dec itself?? :p but of cos only after I reach home and put my stuff down and all. heh
