So I went to town (and of course Harbour Town) to unwind and relax for this school holiday. And as usual I did damage to my pocket! Wahahaha and for the first time, I bought more stuff than Ger!! I can't believe it!!! Haha

Still I'm a happy girl 'cos I bought a lot of preedy stuff. Oh and did I mention too that last Thursday when I went to Garbo to walk around I found the Topshop top I wanted to buy when I was back in Singapore?? I didn't buy it 'cos it was like $40? or maybe more. And when I saw the exact same one here for $15 I grabbed it man! Hohoho :p

So what did I buy? I bought Seven7 Jeans for only $19.95! A Blue jacket for $9.95. Flower motif dress for a mere $6.95! Happening right? Heh. Black tank with sequins for $9.95, plain red tee for $4.95. And yes the last top (as seen in the pic) with the small flower prints is the Topshop look-alike one for $14.95.

The last week passed really quickly and I didn't get any work done. But I'm glad that's over with and it's the Study Break again! :) Yup another break for me.. heh. But this week is gona be all work and all play. Woohoo.. Have smth on everyday. Happening aye.

Anyhoos.. I know that I've not been a very good friend/girlfriend and been neglecting a lot of people since I came back here this semester. Especially the boi. So here are shout outs to a few of you!

To my baby, thank you for being so patient with me and for loving me after everything. I'm glad we got things sorted. "Everything will be alright." Tiffy's gone back to sunny, humid SG and it feels like just yesterday when I just came and got to know her. How fast time flies.. This time next year, I would have already graduated. How fast is that man.

Anyways.. more work up.. no time to slack.. but still got time to play! :p Haha more birthdays at the end of this month and Perth Royal Show is back!! Woohoo! Can't wait! :D

So yes it's my birthday weekend and I turn the ripe young (ol') age of 21 today! Thank you all my dear people back in SG who wished me a Happy Birthday on the phone (that's you baby), through SMS, Friendster, MSN and on my tag board (yes that's only you stef. heh). And of cos I won't forget my dear Ling who dedicated an entry on her blog for me. When I read it I was tearing man.. *muacks*

It started off with my dear cellies celebrating Jeremy's (on the 9th), Isaac's and my (both of us on the 10th) birthday on Friday. And man.. there was ALOT of chocolatey stuff and gosh did I feel fat after that supper.. Haha but it's all worth it 'cos we had Tim Tams and Milo! Shiok! :p Pics aren't with me but I'll post those super unglam shots of me ('cos I was so not prepared to take photos.. tsk!) when I get them from Joel Chng and Mary.

Then yesterday, had a small, cosy, dress-up dinner with a few friends to celebrate my 21st. Thanks to the Food Connoisseur, Joel Chng, we had yummy Mediterranean food at Little Moorish in the city. Followed by some sundaes, fries and nuggets at good ol' trustworth Mc's who would never turn us down. Haha we ate, talked and laughed till it was time to go.

And because all attention was on me last night, we decided to do a little surprise thing today in church for Zac. He had a super yummy "cake" haha. Haha remember the treadmill video I put up a while back? Wahaha I found another video the group recorded for themselves. Yes they're an actual band. Ahhh!!!! The tee I've been waiting for ages is finally reprinted!! Again!! The last 2 times I wanted to get it it was OOS. And now it's out again and I don't have no money to buy 'cos my bank acct is way below what it should be. Damn!! Why!!!

As usual.. did last minute work (only because I had other stuff to do the other days of the week) for my MPP essay over the weekend and finished it at 5plus this morning. Slept for a few hours and got up to rush to school to print it out and hand it in before 12noon. Woohoo! One essay down, no more left!

I'm gona take a breather this week, more rest and more me time. Hurray to no assignments due this week. And to add to this relaxing week, Samuel, me other bro is here for a short holiday and I'll be meeting him on Wednesday for a long overdue meeting. Haha the last time I met him was like before my Bangkok Trip which was 1.5 yrs ago?? That's looooonnnggg man. Heh

It's my birthday week!! 6 more days to my B'day!! What are you guys getting me for my birthday huh huh?? Yes I'm shameless and you already knew it. If you don't get anything, prepare a big X'mas present for me k? Haha ;) But gosh I'll be 21 already. I can't believe it lah. I still feel like I'm 18 or smth..

So anyways.. after my last post, the boi made noise and DEMANDED (ok he wasn't that fierce) me to do one list for him. And here it is. Don't read if you think it's gona be all mush. Heh 'cos it may well be.


10 fondest memories of me and my boi




1) Him always buying clorets and bringing it to class in sec. school and me always asking for it. (I later found out he purposely bought sweets 'cos he knew I'd ask him for them.. tsk.. haha)
2) Him always looking out for the class. I remember very clearly once that he knew that there was gonna be a hp check (yes we couldn't bring hps to school last time) so he asked all of us who brought them to pass it to him so he could hide it in the badminton cupboard/store for us first.
3) When we were dating/together in sec school and we went to watch movies, he'd always bring a jacket along so I could use it if I was cold in the cinema (everyone go awww....). He's the sweetest!!
4) Us going to BK at Eastpoint to study near the Os and he'd always buy food for me (and force me) to eat 'cos I'd study and not eat.
5) When we first got together and he held my hand in the cinema. He even whispered to ask if I was okay with it.. haha :p
6) Us doing a jigsaw together!
7) Us watching the sunset at Freo when he came over last year.
8) Him LYING to me, PURPOSELY. Only 'cos he planned a surprise gathering thingy for me before I came to Perth.
9) Our almost daily affair of late night prata before and when we first got together.
10) Him coming over to my place, before we got together last year, and we spent the whole night talking, laughing, looking at old photos and old chat logs.

There you have it!! :D I just love the boi to bits lah.

Yesterday, after a long time.. And I really mean looooooooonnnnnngggggggg time, Qiyang, aka the guy who used to be my uncle, msged me on MSN and told me he went back to TMS to visit the teachers 'cos it was Teachers' Day. So fun! He went back with Thashalan, and apparently Thash looked like the new DM so the kids were like bowing their heads when they walked past him. Damn funny can!! Haha.

But yes we started reminiscing talking about our teachers, how they look like now, how we were in Sec. school, playing like nobody's business.. It was fun. I miss those times man!

And because Disa started the "10 memories" thing, I shall do it here too!! I shall start with TMS and then move on to CMM!


10 fondest memories of TMS




1) Buying plastic bags full of lollipops and sharing them with our class ppl at our favourite gazebo before school started EVERYDAY (when we were still at Bedok) and daydreaming and just talking with Ling, Yan and Joanne there.
2) Being a Peer Support Leader! Haha the camps and the orientations we did at Sentosa after. Oh and remember the Shop & Save tee-shirt?? haha
3) Singing in class with Jun and Ling every free time we got
4) Practising for Talentime and staying so late we girls had to climb over the school gate to get out 'cos we were locked in.. haha
5) The dance studio where we spent countless hours having dance practices on Tuesdays and Saturdays where Ling, Marie, Fen and I will have mini gossip sessions before that, and go eat Katong Laksa after practise on Saturdays.
6) Sharing our maths and science textbooks and TYS with 4/5 and we always had to pass books once the teacher walked out from their class and into ours really quickly.
7) Playing street soccer with the guys at Bedok Reservoir on Fridays, sliding around the court when it rained and then having Macs for dinner.
8) The countless and endless chalets, and CSing in Katong, especially in Sec 3 with the guys who made my grades dropped so bad.. Yap Zhenjie! I blame you for introducing them to me!! Haha :p No lah I LOVE YOU!!!
9) Standing outside the classroom. 1st in Sec 2 when we couldn't answer Morni's qns and we kept saboing each other who didn't know till so many of us stood outside. And 2nd in Sec 4 when we didn't do some chinese homework Tan Teck Yong gave us and he sent the whole group of us out, save for like 4-5 of them.. heh
10) Celebrating Zhenjie's Birthday where we bought him a shirt for his present because we had planned to "dirty" him with egg, flour and water. And we did! Plus an additional ice lemon tea. Haha and after that he still used that shirt and we could still smell the flour and egg.. Eeeewwww...


Okay and now..

10 fondest memories of CMM




1) Meeting Disa as my first friend in CMM and us saying how noisy Yanling and Connie and Debbie were.. haha
2) Open house! Doing the decos, sound, jabbing at the buttons for VM and directing in the control room. Woohoo!
3) Slogging our guts out in the studios editing video after video, broadcast journalism, advanced TV, single cam, and us going crazy in the editing suites, singing and recording ourselves, listening to Talking Cock OST, pushing each other on the chairs and trolley in the corridors, camping there almost 24/7.
4) S-League! Kena selected to present and had a mad rush with Sean Chan and Surekha compiling all the group reports in 72 hours straight. Then practising the presentation till we could memorise all the numbers and after everything we got so sick of each other we decided to take a break from each other for 2 whole wks.. haha
5) Baking with my beloved Lolos and taking it to school the next day to have it finished within minutes! We are good! ;) haha
6) Spending long morning breaks at the Macs opp. school having breakfasts and talking cock
7) Yes.. I have to say our NDP video which caused so much pain and joy.. and which "forced" me to know the one and only Karthik who is Mr NDP no more, plus our dear talents especially my dear Qixun!
8) Having Ferlin as my law tutor, one of the best tutors I ever had and really respect.
9) The wonderous Mac Lab where we spent hours on OUR macs, doing work, surfing the net, playing music and having our gossip and photowhoring sessions.
10) Last but not least, knowing the wonderful Mr Pok and Mr Lim who were the bestest 'cos they always rescued us when it came to crunch time in the studios and we had trouble, complaining to each other about whatever and laughing at people together!


There you have it.. my favouritest periods of my life. :D
