One Perfect Day was set in Australia. Melbourne to be exact.. the guy was studying in London den went back to Australia after his sis died.
Anyways (sorry i spoilt a part of the show if you're gona watch it).. yes the movie..
One Perfect Day.. I liked it. Not a very well known show but it touches on achieving ur dream and the dance/drug scene. A movie with a story line that isn't very clear to some, and in my terms, a thinking movie. A sad story but with an ending that makes me admire the lead character (and it helps tat he's pretty cute too, Dan Spielman!! :p) plus it was a show about music, though not exactly the kind of music I would listen to. Still, it tugged at my heartstrings.
One wonders y some people can be so stupid as to continue doin drugs when they noe it's harmful. And even when ppl around them die from it, they still do it, maybe not all, but some. I understand that ppl start taking drugs out of various reasons and some end up getting addicted. I can't judge them. But still, don't they realize how fragile life is that to risk losing it for those few moments of "high" isn't worth it.
If I were in Tommy Matisse's (Dan's role) shoes, I don't know if I could be as strong as him. His drive and love for the ones he lost in the show is realy smth I admire. And how he goes after his dream of playing music that would be able to stir the hearts of ppl. Only thrice in the show did you see him lose that fire and spark in his eyes and soul revealing his vulnerability. It makes me wonder how does he keep pushing on?
Many times we lose track of our dreams and goals and want to give up. But not for him. He is the epitome of the human spirit for me, having the unwavering faith of someone's love for you.
Ok.. maybe I'm not making sense to some of you.. but wateva! :p Juz writing down how I feel.
